Despite seeming complicated, hats are actually pretty easy to make. They are really good to learn the combination of 'knit and purl', and to practise decreasing by knitting two stitches together.
Decreasing, as said in my previous post, is actually quite easy, but can become a pain in the * if you tend to knit tight instead of loose. I try to remember to loose up my stitches whenever I have to decrease in the next row, so it's easier for me to knit two stitches together without much trouble. This is, of course, my opinion, I want you all to participate and contradict me!
So here's my hat project. I used a yellow 'baby cotton' yarn. After finishing the hat, I added a decorative flower on the side, because I thought it would flatter adult women more than a pom-pom on the top. The flower was knit following the letsknit2gether video I spoke of in my last post.
Hope you like it!!
